The Rabbiter’s Hut was an old cottage used on ‘Tinline Park’ in the late 1950s to house the rabbit man that was employed to reduce the vermin on the property.
Restoration of the cottage commenced in 2011. Using local tradesmen and eldest son Jock; who is also a builder, the Rabbiter’s hut was converted into a very exclusive, luxurious 3-bedroom cottage using typical Australian materials such as corrugated iron and red gum from the property.
The cottage is situated 3 kilometres from the main homestead ensuring privacy during your stay. Although, Annette and Bill are willing to host you ensuring you have the best possible experience.

An hour's drive from Adelaide, The Rabbiter's Hut is located on the picturesque property of Tinline Park in the Eastern Ranges of the Adelaide Hills.

The unique Rabbiter's Shed provides the perfect entertaining area where one can taste a good slow-cooked roast lamb from the paddock to plate. To linger over a long lunch on the handcrafted red gum table from the property is the perfect way to spend time with friends or family.
Gourmet Cooked Breakfast can be organised at the time of booking, which will include bacon from the local Butcher, fresh farm eggs, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, homemade bread, can be organised at the time of booking.
Continental Breakfast is included during your stay, consisting of condiments, home-made bread,home-made muesli, condiments, tea, plunger coffee, Nespresso, milk, juice.
Guests can visit 3 stunning regions of South Australia, the world-renowned Barossa Valley, Murray River, and the Adelaide Hills - all within 30 minutes of the property.
The Lavender Trail runs through the property providing the enthused bushwalker to take in many sites of the trail.
The Rabbiter's Hut has yarding for those who are passionate about horse riding. With the Kidman Horse Riding Trail also running through the property, guests can bring their horse.

Bill and Annette take great pleasure in sharing their rural lifestyle with guests, which is centred around what they have called the "Tinline Triangle". Their knowledge of the three glorious regions surrounding, that their family has grown up in, is an asset for visitors to discover hidden gems that only the locals know. Rural life at its best.
Explore, bushwalking, horse riding, unwind on the verandah or by the fire. Taste local produce, visit wineries, have a round of golf, enjoy a drive to the river, a home-cooked country meal.
When choosing to stay at the Rabbiter's Hut it is essential to have your own car or hire car so that one can venture off to see the sights.
Accommodation prices are based on $260 per night for the first 2 guests, then $55 per person per night (up to 6 guests).
Number of guests must not exceed 6.
Additional services can be provided, such as meat platters for a BBQ - must be arranged at time of booking (at an extra cost).
