Explore the endless rural surrounds of Tinline Park, a picturesque farming property in the eastern ranges of the Adelaide Hills, just 1 hour from Adelaide. Boasting uninterrupted views of the Murray Plains, The Rabbiter's Hut was originally used in the 1950s as the home for the 'rabbit man', who was employed to reduce vermin on the property.
The restored rural cottage sleeps 6 people. Unwind on the verandah or on the newly created long red gum outdoor table with your complimentary bottle of Langhorne Creek Wine.
Cook your own damper, vegetables and succulent leg of lamb from Tinline Park in the campfire oven. Your hosts Annie and Bill will set up and prepare your bonfire ready for you to sit back and enjoy.
Your weekday package includes a choice of regional day tours in Juggle House's luxurious Entertainer Limousine to either Langhorne Creek, or the Murray River Highlights tour.
Langhorne Creek is home to the famous Lake Doctor, an enormous basket press made from ancient local trees, and the first winery in Australia to be owned and run by sisters. Visit four outstanding wineries and enjoy a regional produce lunch. Your wine tour is topped off with a wander in Strathalbyn, the antique capital of SA, before returning to Rabbiter's Hut.
Or, you can discover the highlights of our region's 130 million-year-old natural playground with slow waters, sandy cliffs & steadfast characters. The Murray River Highlights option is rich in Aboriginal heritage with a guided tour of the Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park, a 1.5-hour riverboat cruise, and a memorable visit to the 'Big Bend by Night' farm.
